If you want to have a 4wd experience in the Top End, or really get to see the 'outback', have all sorts of wild adventures, go fishing in remote locations or just travel and tour looking at the Wet Tropics, the Dry Tropics, the Savannah, the Barrier Reef, the Ranges and High Country, the remote country of the Kimberley, aboriginal culture and the outback we can make it happen for you.  Australia is a BIG place, there are no checkpoints, no border crossings but you do need permission to enter some of the aboriginal reserves and there are local restrictions on alcohol in some area's (there are provisions made for tourists).

Whilst Australia is generally a low risk environment, when conducting threat assessments for close personal protection, it is also a harsh and dangerous environment when compared to the rest of the world.  We have some of the most venomous snakes and fast acting toxins, the most dangerous sea creatures, exotic wildlife and extreme driving conditions.  When you're in the bush, you can be a long way from help.  To balance this Australia is also a beautiful place with a scattered population outside the cities, cattle stations that measure their size in hundreds of square miles and cattle by the thousand, many pristine area's and clean air.  We can guide you in such a way that you see the best and avoid the worst.

We provide trained staff, with medical qualifications and experience, 4wd qualifications and knowledge, as well as local knowledge.  We can also address those hazards, and reduce the risks.  It may be an amazing one on one adventure, a family trip, a five star resort holiday, outback camping, a mix of business and pleasure, exotic locations or experiences.  Whatever YOU want - you are the client.

WHAT DOES IT COSTS?

For one of our travel companion / guides and a 4wd vehicle (such as a Toyota Landcruiser with bullbar, a Land Rover or a Pajero - depending on where you wish to go) the indicative cost is $1200 a day.  For this you will have the full attention of your companion driver, a tailored package and a suitable 4wd for your adventure.  This includes GST (10% Goods and Services Tax - an Australian tax similar to VAT). 

If you wish to travel with others, in a number of vehicles we can also arrange this - some of our clients like to have a vehicle each, sitting in the front conversing by 2 way radio between vehicles, chatting with the guide and enjoying the views - for some adventures you should travel with another vehicle.

Should you desire a luxury 4wd such as a Range Rover the cost is higher (Our standard vehicles are chosen for suitability for the task).

Should you prefer a sedan (restricted to sealed roads) the cost may be lower.

If you prefer a boat and crew on the barrier reef, or private fly/drive holiday visiting various destination we can accomodate.

In Australia please arrive at the airport 1 hr before the departure time for your flight, at Sydney allow 1.25hrs.

Within Australia, despite the advertising hype, some area's have marginal or non-existant mobile coverage.  Some are covered by different mobile carriers (generally Optus or Telstra).  When travelling to more remote locations we provide additional means of communication, however, we must charge for the use of these (satellite phone calls can be expensive).  HF radiophone links are also charged.  We apologise for that.
